“I am not a landscape painter. This is not my line. I paint my inner world. I have always been interested in human relationships and the biological world, from fleas to elephants. But above all, I have been interested in humans because of their ability to think abstractly, which should help them understand the world better, but not to conquer the world and gain any benefit from it,” said painter and graphic artist Jüri Arrak.
